The story
Date Busted started with a simple frustration: someone sends you a photo and says "this is who I am" — but how do you verify that? Reverse image search finds identical photos. We find the person.
Our facial recognition engine doesn't just match pixels. It maps facial geometry across billions of publicly available images — social media profiles, dating app photos, news articles, public records, and more. When we find a match, we tell you where it came from and how confident we are.
We're not a surveillance company. We don't work with governments. We don't sell data. We built a tool for regular people who need to verify someone's identity before making a decision — whether that's a first date, a business deal, or finding a lost friend.

How it works
1. You upload a photo. Drag and drop or click to select. We accept any clear face photo — screenshots, profile pictures, photos from your camera roll.
2. We scan the web. Our engine processes the face against billions of indexed images across social media, dating apps, news outlets, blogs, and public databases. This takes about 30 seconds.
3. You get results. Each result shows the platform, a match confidence score, and a link. Results are blurred until you unlock them with a credit.
